Why We Do It
Why We Do It
Sigma Scholars Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where innovative ideas about the educational, social, and cultural development of youth can be shared and implemented. Our mission is to provide both financial support and guidance to help young people reach their full potential in all aspects of life. By investing in their education and offering resources for real-world experiences, we aim to prepare youth for long-term success in both academic and professional realms. We advocate tirelessly for every young person’s right to access the tools and opportunities necessary for growth, regardless of their background. Whether through scholarships, school enhancements, or cultural exposure, we strive to create a well-rounded, supportive path for youth achievement. At Sigma Scholars Foundation, we believe that empowering the next generation is the key to building stronger communities and a brighter future.
Our Programs
The Sigma Scholars Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded (five years)? ago with a mission to provide scholarships to deserving seniors from Wake County Schools. These scholarships support students who have been accepted and committed to attending either a two-year college (Associates Program) or a four-year college (Bachelors Program) after graduating from high school. The foundation continues to empower local students by helping them achieve their educational goals and build a brighter future.
