EVENT OVERVIEW

For over three decades, the ETA Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. has been dedicated to advancing the educational and career development of youth through the Sigma Scholars Foundation, Inc. That mission continues with great enthusiasm at our 2026 Celebrity Golf Tournament.
We are honored to welcome former NC State standout and NCAA National Champion Ernie Myers as our esteemed celebrity golfer. A McDonald’s All-American, Myers rose to prominence at Tolentine High School in the Bronx, where he led his team to three CHSAA city championships. He went on to play at North Carolina State University from 1982–1986 and was a member of the historic 1982–83 Wolfpack team that captured the NCAA National Championship. Known for his scoring ability and competitive edge, Myers delivered standout performances throughout his collegiate career, including a 35-point game against Duke.

Your participation helps us raise critical funds to support scholarships, mentorship, and academic programming through the Sigma Scholars Foundation, Inc.

The Lonnie Poole Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. The stunning layout was designed by Arnold Palmer and the design team at Arnold Palmer Design Company (including Erik Larsen and Brandon Johnson, both NC State graduates.
