De’Nasia Daniels, a graduate of Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School was the 2019 Sigma Scholars Scholarship winner. She graduated with a 3.9138 GPA.
De’Nasia was a member of the Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School National Honor Society, a member of the National Beta Club and Student Government Association. She also served as secretary of the Senior Class.
She was very active in her community. She recognized the value in getting new uniforms for the students, as she once was a member of the middle school track team. She believes community service benefits everyone involved on many levels. She is committed to being a leader and advocate for community service projects that encourages positivity in the community.
De’Nasia maintained exemplary grades, as evidenced by her GPA, while participating in various programs such as the Girls Scouts of America, the National Honor Society, and playing sports and cheerleading. She was a positive role model for her peers and is currently a member of the Junior Class enrolled at North Carolina Central University.
